- A claim does not mean your licence is invalid. Platforms match audio automatically.
- Send us your licence ID, the channel, the video link and a screenshot of the claim.
- We reply within 2 business days and ask the claimant or distributor to release the claim.
- You must not register ZAWA music in Content ID yourself.
- We are not responsible for money lost while a claim is open.

1. Why claims happen
Platforms such as YouTube compare the audio in new videos to a database of fingerprints. A match can raise a claim whether or not you have a licence. Some of ZAWA's music is also distributed to streaming services through a distributor, and a distributor can register music with content-identification systems. So a licensed video can still be flagged, usually by mistake.
2. What to do
Keep your licence certificate and the track name to hand.,Email zawamusicinc@gmail.com with the subject line Claim release.,Include your licence ID, the channel URL, the video link and a screenshot of the claim.,If the claim is on a platform where you can add a licence or whitelist a channel, tell us which.
Within 2 business days of receiving that proof we confirm the licence and ask the claimant or distributor to release the claim, or we add your channel to any whitelist that applies. Some platforms need a few more days to act.
3. Disputing a claim
You may use the platform's dispute process. Please give us your licence ID first. Do not describe the licence as something it is not, and do not dispute a claim on a work you have not licensed from us.
4. Do not register ZAWA music
You may not register ZAWA's music, or a project that contains it, in Content ID or any other content-identification system. If you do, you must withdraw it at once. It is a breach that cannot be fixed, and we may end your licence.
5. What we do not promise
We cannot promise that no claim will ever appear. We are not responsible for lost monetisation, strikes or platform decisions while a claim is open. We will act on your proof quickly, and the licence certificate is your evidence.
6. Claims against ZAWA's own uploads
If someone else uploads ZAWA music without a licence, they are not covered. We may claim or remove it.
