The Story
Based in British Columbia, Canada, Zawa is an electronic music producer whose productions move fluidly through cinematic synthwave, house, indie electronica, dark electro, chill downtempo and orchestral electronica. His music is defined less by genre than by mood — immersive soundscapes, hypnotic grooves, analog-inspired synthesizers, evocative melodies and arrangements with the scale and emotional weight of cinema.
With an extensive history in the music industry spanning North America, Zawa brings a deep understanding of production, songwriting and electronic sound to a project that continues to evolve. His work draws from the nocturnal energy of electronic music, the nostalgia of synthwave and the expansive language of film scoring, creating a sound that can move from the dance floor into something far more cinematic without losing its pulse.
Zawa's growing catalogue explores the intersection of electronic music and visual storytelling and adding new mood filled genres such as, Sing/Songwriter Acoustic, Instrumental Indie Rock, Punk, Rockabilly, Alterative Rock, with a particular interest in music that can live beyond the traditional boundaries of a song — music for the club, the headphones, the late-night drive and the screen.
